Their objective is to exalt craftmanship and achieve a fair remuneration for the hours of labour that go into each piece under strict Fair-Trade policies, thus allowing the families and communities involved to earn a dignified living.

Through the commercialization of these pieces, they keep alive ancient techniques and transmit them to the young, along with a love of craftmanship and the legacy held in the special characteristics of work from each particular place of origin.

Sharing success is fulfilling, so Tonton Textil applies part of its sales to projects that improve the natural and social environment of the communities involved. At present, they work with 86 artisans principally in the regions of Chiapas.
