 Alma works closely with Mexican artisans and have incorporated sustainable ideas into traditional weaving techniques.

 

 Alma integrates simple shapes into their designs. A perfect example is their most successful piece, the Taco Bag which “responds directly to its function: carrying something inside”. It is a simple and elegant design that is delicately crafted with the finest techniques.

 

Alma uses natural and non-toxic food safe dyes and all colours are achieved by hand colouring and fixing locally and sustainable foraged palms. 

 

The weaving process of each piece takes between 8 to 36 hours!
